In december of 2004, a member of the
Citation Yahoo group club, KevinWeisenbarger, posted a for sale ad on the
club for his 1981 Chevy Citation X-11. Apparently I was one of the few or
perhaps even the only person on the club that answered the ad. The ad
basically said that it was a newly repainted car without an engine. Of
course, under normal circumstances, I would have ignored the ad too, but I
was getting ready to perform this engine swap on my faded shitty looking
'81 X-11 with rusty leaking sunroof,. I thought to myself,"Now if I
only someone would post a newly repainted car for sale with a blown engine,
I'd have it made". Sure enough, the ad appeared, and Kevin answered me
back after my inquiry. After we hammered out a deal, I was sitting on cloud
nine! It was Xmas eve, and I found my future hotrod….
